You'd be surprised how warm BT's Studio 1 could get with all the lights on!

I went to a recording of the Clare Balding show back in the early days, we all had to stand for the duration of the recording, it got really warm in there so much so the lady behind me fainted, don't think I will ever forget that thud as she hit the floor

The first OB in TNT Sports branding is boxing from Telford this evening, followed by a PPV from Vegas - which I believe will be presented from the new studio in Stockley Park. The first hour of it will be simulcast on TNT Sports 1.

What's TNT Sports like in terms of UHD/HDR offering? BT Sport was quite strong in that area. And is any UHD available via discovery+, or only on the likes of Sky, Virgin etc?

Just to be really pendantic, there were a few bits and pieces around UFC London last weekend from a TNT Sports desk at the O2 Arena, but as that was dipping in and out of the world feed as well, I suppose tonight's the first full OB.

Tonight's boxing is also the first 4K production since the rebrand, which I believe will be available on Discovery+ as well as the usual platforms.

Tonight's boxing is available in 4K UHD on Discovery+, and the TNT Sport 1 broadcast is not featured on the main page or Boxing page, only if you go looking for it in the TNT Sport 1 listings.

www.discoveryplus.com

The PPV event is not available through Discovery+, you are directed to the TNT Box Office website.

The BT Sport names still lives on a non sky box, as they haven’t relabelled the mosaic channels yet, they are still showing up as BT Sport Mosaic and BT Sport Mosaic 2.

It’s nearly 18mbps which is considerably higher for a HD channel, Sky in comparison only do 8mbps these days, the HD picture is as ever stunning.
