Amanda Harper has on Instagram. She's had replies from Owain Wyn Jones, her former colleague and two from EMT, Sarah Hawley and Monika Plaha (currently on secondment from Look Levy).

It’s probably just that you can’t really progress at Look North

Hudson isn’t going anywhere and Keeley Donovan isn’t either

Therefore the only job available is staying on earlies forever

It will be interesting to see what she does next. From how she’s phrased it, I assume it will be outside the BBC

I guess it’s one of those jobs where you tried all sorts of stuff like Amy and then you get a job like this it’s like a settling down job, whilst Abbie is on the other side where she wants to do more stuff doing other things.

Ooh they put some on terrific virtual graphics today, it looked really impressive, so clearly as well as the obvious picture improvement, they've gone up in the world of graphics too.

Abbie did some weather cover on the main NWT as well, but I imagine as mentioned above that she either wanted to progress where she isn't doing early shifts on the same regional bulletin or progress into doing something else, such as more on the digital side.

I believe Abbie has done a couple of bits of reporting for Morning Live, and some stuff for Radio 1 so perhaps that has led to an opportunity.

Keeley has done some network content, such as the Countryfile (season) Diaries. But Owain has been the most successful of the Leeds weather team, ending up with early breakfast on Radio 2.

Kat gets regular BBC London weather cover including the 1830 bulletin from B.
