No I mean she literally said in an interview that C5 had previously been in public ownership and had then been privatised, which of course never happened.

And here is me thinking she couldn't get any worse, I had no idea. This is unbelievable. People out there who have no idea of media know Channel 5 is commercial.

This seems to have been largely overlooked but Talk TV aired a special Piers Morgan sit down interview with Rishi Sunak on Thursday...

...with what sounds like Piers' microphone not working throughout the whole interview.

Guido Fawkes report overniight 120k ratings for the hour, 140k peak.

Also Tom Newton Dunn later had 700. Not k or m, just 700

So shows channel issue isnt awareness or platform, just content

it pains me to watch that channel but did tune in for bits of it last night. I just find it totally unbearable during the ad breaks with that awful bed playing because it can't attract enough advertisers. It grates on you and certainly for an hour.

I for one was not interested in the interview with Piers Morgan and Rishi Sunak. To me, it was just Piers trying to be sensationalist as usual. Tonight, it will be Nadine Dorries interviewing Boris Johnson. What significance will that interview make? Not a lot in my opinion as her and Boris are really close.

As I said, TalkTV need an overhaul because they will not be able to keep up with interviewing the 'big' names for very long. Something needs to give.

I haven’t really watched TND’s show since it moved, after watching it probably a few times a week when it was at 7pm. I like it a lot, but it just doesn’t occur to me to tune in. I don’t get the logic of putting it up against BBC, ITV and Sky all airing their flagship bulletins.

Tom sadly has no way out of his ratings disaster - at 7pm he was placed up against Channel 4 News, who have a loyal and largely stable audience, and of course on the other right wing GB News side there is Farage, who simply eats up the centre right right audience platform who detest Channel 4 News.

Then moving him later did nothing but probably only worsen his decline on the channel, so literally there is no way out for him, unless the goes to the radio side and fills in for three hours at the weekend?

With the way he's going he might get dismissed for behavioral issues before his ratings.
