Bizarre that the UK feed has rejoined the World feed to cover the Raab story, as 5 Live seemed more interested in a lengthy debate about workplace bullies! Surely this shows that the 5 Live opt isn’t fit for purpose?

Has Westminster ever been captioned as "South London" before?

To be fair if they had stuck with 5Live, the station did seem to pivot to cover the news of the resignation too.

The UK feed has opted out now, with coverage presented from College Green. This means that the breaking news strap now just refers to Dominic Raab as Deputy PM without a 'UK' in front of it.

Surely if 5 Live was fulfilling its remit properly it should’ve gone to the story…

No titles or anything Uk feed stripped to the bare bones, they are covering their story on the global feed how are they saving money? EDIT: on world it’s taking about Sudan now

Surely breaking away from the phone in shows the concept DOES work and that NC audience won miss anything big happening?
Appreciate the clunky opt, but after that few seconds - happy days?

Presenting from College Green is not a good idea, there is clearly some kind of noisy protest going on and then the placard holders in the background.
Sky News is streets ahead with this today, in studio & Downing Street and analysis of the actual report.
