Staying in the Netherlands, Loeki, mascot of the overarching public broadcasting foundation STER (and of course, one that some UK viewers are familiar with!) has a new set of animated blips in May:

Still no updates from the broadcaster, but just wanted to bring up an interesting footnote: The current globe, used since 1985, was reused from a drafted logo for Seoul 1988 Olympics.

Would be interesting to know how it ended up on KBS.

Over in Caribbean, Colombia, state-owned regional channel Telecaribe had a new symbol for their 37th anniversary, harking back to their 90s look with a streaming twist (translation: We've added a play button). This is the reveal reel during their birthday special:

and the programme junctions afterwards:

Don't like the muted colour palette; their 2019 graphics looked slicker, if not a bit generic though.

You'd better contact Design Focus, the South Korean agency behind KBS's current logo.

And here they are, in glorious 16:9...

And we've got the designers... De Molenstraat (a Flemish advertising agency), Gédéon (for the presentation), and Brandy Jingles and R&B producer Abraham Blue (for the music).

SIC Mulher in Portugal had a refresh for its 20th birthday back on 8/3, replacing the similar shades of purple plus a new on-screen font:

Not quite sure where to put this but, an interesting vid of how BBC One, VRT1 (Belgium - Flanders), NPO1 (The Netherlands) and BVN (an international channel for Nederland programming) joined the Eurovision Semi-Finals on the dot:

And here we got a similar video with BBC One, Das Erste (Germany), France 2, Rai 1 (Italy), ORF 1 (Austria) and SRF 1 (German speaking part of Switzerland):

Things to note:

[*]Rai joined late and had to play out the Eurovision ident themselves, then crashing into th cold open
[*]Das Erste not just covered up the sponsors on the last three slides of the credits (like the BBC), but also covered the slide with the logos of the BBC, EBU and government sponsors. They never covered up anything in SF1 or the previous years.

Is that an ITV Be style channel?   Must say the branding is omewhat of an assault on the eyes.

I think so - the name of the channel is basically "SIC Woman" in English, plus its programme lineup has, among other things, Dr. Phil, Property Brothers and Survivors, alongside Turkish/Spanish dramas. It's true that it looks a bit basic, epecially when the outgoing package looked like this:

Back to the Caribbean, Color Visión in Dominican Republic debuted a new stripey look, replacing the rounded triangle symbol after 9 years. The package is reportedly done by the old friends at Red Bee Media, if the Logopedia entry is believed true:

Not too fond on the main ident, but the promos are pretty slick.
