Has ITV3 ever even had a Twitter account at all?
If my Luddite technophobe of a mother is anything to go by, then maybe much of ITV3's perceived audience were never anticipated to be users of Twitter/social media/the internet/anything more technologically advanced than a kettle.

Someone else was using ITV3 as their handle, before Twitter changed the rules and insisted on a 5 character minimum for usernames. Means now that no-one can change their handle to ITV2, the name is completely gone unless ITV re-activate it.

'ITVX' sounds like a subscription channel in the Sky 800s range peddling adult content in the early hours of the night.
Creepy and crass, not classic.

The "hub" suffix didn't remind you of anything similar?

Also I wonder with these new cross-channel idents being a thing, will the soundtracks be the same?

I am worried that similar soundtracks & more or less similar idents to link all the channels together, everything will look too identical.
Channel 4's suite of original idents for E4, More 4, Film 4, 4Seven & Channel 4 were diverse but all with the common 4. It seemed to work very well for years. They then adopted the blocks on all of their channels but were able to retain their individual looks. But it sounds as though the ITV logo is not enough to link all their channels together - the locations, soundtracks, logo form-ups are possibly going to be very similar. Will their individual personalities be able to shine through and be distinct enough? I am interested to see how they manage to accomplish this, which I am sure they will.

I could see a variation of the music for each channel in the idents, or at least a variation of a sound logo if they include one.
