The way it references the fact it used to be on Sunday makes it sounds like it’s going to be a permanent edition at least for a bit.

I wonder if they might use for ITV X and show it live on there a bit earlier in the evening.

The ITV Lunchtime News has been extended to 2:55 (with a very late lunchtime regional news then following)

The BBC News at One is also being extended according to Ben Brown, but the EPG hasn’t updated.

There is also an extra episode of Peston tonight at 10:45pm

Yes, it's always interesting when ITV goes into rolling news mode.

During the 1st break of Countdown, Channel 4 is doing a news report with Matt Frei outside Downing Street.
