It's still far more effort to make it look like the audience was real compared to almost every daytime gameshow on air today.

The Wheel certainly won't have an easy time of it in the coming weeks.

Very poor from Jonathan Ross. Wonder if that’s one that could be placed on hiatus in the coming months/years.

The Jonathan Ross show never does really well. But it's doing numbers that it was getting about 4 years ago. So maybe it's just enough.
Good for 1% Club doing significantly better than Limitless Win in that slot.

Ross is about as relevant as any of the shows that ITV have shown late on Saturday nights in recent weeks, glorified filler.

JR has long since had a reputation for playing host to the "dreggs" on his show compared to the superstars that show up for Graham Norton. I haven't bothered watching for a while, but the last few times I watched it, he also had a habit of playing forced, not-that-funny games with his guests in a similar manner to The Tonight Show, where the guests usually come across like they're being dragged into playing against their will.
Everything about it just feels far more stale and less free-flowing than Graham's show, so I'm not surprised the numbers aren't all that good.

Why does Britain only seem to have one successful talk show - The Graham Norton Show?
ITV used to be filled with them over the decades, but not they rely on Jonathan Ross, whose guest list is appalling - wheeling out Jack Whitehall yet again last week.
Surely we can find new talk show hosts for the weekend? Especially since Graham has been mulling over when to retire - he came close to leaving a few years ago, but stayed at the BBC when they allowed him to do less shows - he is now only doing 22 shows a year, compared to around 34 shows a year he used to do.

As for The Chosen Ten, the TV Zone article hints at a quiz show and ten different contestants per day but a description elsewhere says it is just one contestant answering just one question per day so most of the show will be a group of people deciding who to put forward, so a reality show basically.
[...]
So 'The Chosen Ten' is basically a mix of two game show that were shown on Channel 4:
-Number 1 (a failed, but confusing daytime game show)
-One Question (A prime time game show that Channel 4 recently recommissioned for a second season)

It would be good to see something new. ITV’s problem is they over-hype and over-complicate. Something simple that’s quietly launched might be the answer - the exact opposite of the nightly show they did a few years ago.
I’d love to see something like Ireland’s Late Late Show.
Not sure who I’d have present though. Mo Gilligan maybe. Graham Norton’s so good because it isn’t really about him.

Doubt there's many quiz repeats from 2009 in the schedules, outside of Challenge of course.
A chance to see Mark Labett of The Chase fame tonight. And Jenny Ryan of the same show features next week.
