Eurovision Song Contest 2024

The fact we’ve heard it twice already shows her winning song from last year isn’t a patch on it.

Interesting they’ve switched to a more traditional double header presenting approach thus far this evening. Seems odd to host both semi-finals in a different way perhaps a last minute change?

Also nice to see the other host going for an inverted Mr Blobby look.

It was last year's song they parodied in the intro though? Hence the sunbeds

Surely they’re going to throw in an interview with Olly Alexandra at some point?

The opener was a Tattoo tribute. So we're now one-a-piece on Loreen tributes so far. One for Euphoria and one for Tattoo.

I would imagine Petra and Malin going double headed so far is in anticipation of Malin doing more later before/after Petra's musical number

Oh it sounded so similar, I assumed it was a parody of Euphoria. I clearly forgot the staging from last years winning song as well.

I'm liking Estonia's entry at the moment. It's a banger.

I really liked Belgium, even if his live vocals were lacking.

Nice to see something more creative from Italy this year, and I'm shocked to hear Rylan and Scott saying it's the first time in 10 years that they've sent a woman

Slight misinformation from Rylan and Scott. They have said that Angelina Mango is the first female artist in 10 years to represent italy, while 2016's representative was also female.

Yeah me too, although I think the word 'solo' is missing, because Måneskin has a female member.

If you listen closely you can here a huge sigh of relief being breathed by the EBU at the fact that Israel have no chance of winning and hosting next year based off that performance

I don't think I've ever been so nervous whilst watching a Eurovision performance before.
