In other news, after seeing pictures/videos on social media from this afternoon's rehearsals, it would seem that Petra is indeed doing the jury votes on her own tonight, with Malin almost certainty up in the green room (like in 2016 when it was her and Måns).
Think it's the first time since 2016 that the jury results sequence will be done by one presenter, it's been two hosts every final since, though in 2022 it was meant to be three until Laura Pausini felt unwell mid-show
It's a good job Petra has already got two contests under her belt as her and Malin are going to have one hell of task steering the show tonight

A really poor effort from the non-Eurovision broadcasters tonight, Chanel 5 particularly bad.

Is it an admission that the UK really loves Eurovision and its not worth even trying to attempt to fight the chaos in Malmo?

SVT have essentially run this year's contest on autopilot, keeping last year's slogan, the bland visual identity and doing absolutely nothing to show off Sweden or it's culture in their first hosting in 8 years.
The interval acts have all felt a bit generic and don't really come together as part of any/the theme, even if they have been mostly enjoyable. The fact they've all been past contestants this year is particularly disappointing, it's almost like SVT are trying to ensure they don't get the call-up to help with a possible 70th anniversary special programme next year.
It's also quite funny that after years of Måns being omnipresent, the one year he chooses to stay away is when Sweden is hosting, with Charlotte Perrelli being the most featured former Swedish winner (taking part in the singalong, We Just Love Eurovision Too Much and the ABBA tribute tonight with Carola and Conchita)
Petra and Malin have been great but that was to be expected, at least for Petra, and I did throughly enjoy We Just Love Eurovision Too Much and the Tattoo sketch on Thursday.
Are you joking?! Tonight has all the signs of being absolute chaos. It’s set to be the most unpredictable tv show in years.

The way that the situation keeps evolving so close to the final beginning makes me feel nervous about what's to come
In the last hour or so alone, Käärijä has pulled out of giving the Finnish jury points and Loreen has said she won't hand over the trophy if its to Israel.

Yes, could be great TV with any luck.

Not really. For everyone who’s a fan of Eurovision in some form, you find many more who either actively detest it or just have never had the slightest interest. That said from what I can the programmes on offer from the other channels seem like a good mix of alternatives. No point showing ‘The Most Shocking Live TV’ moment or Britain’s Got Talent on the other channels as chances are a lot of those interested in those would also be the ones interested in Eurovision.

The alternatives are shows about people getting killed, very stereotypical and prejudiced thinking about viewers.

Despite participating in rehearsals earlier today, Nikkie De Jager (The Netherlands) is the third jury spokesperson to pull out.

That’s basically most of TV most of the time. At least they have alternative of Eurovision and of course people aren’t restricted to just 5 channels these days. They can also watch people getting killed on Drama.
Sweden reminding us other countries have a royal family.
Scott and Rylan then coming through on BBC One.
Just sticking a commentary on another broadcasters pictures shouldn’t be too difficult to mess up.
