Presumably the availability of staff was a factor if the plan was for the same crew as worked on the Six to continue in B?

London should have been live in B, but was pulled due to the camera issues.
D is also home now to London for Breakfast, Lunch and Weekends.

So when they eventually move into B, it looks like they're saving money by utilising the Six/Ten gallery team, while the off-peak bulletins continue with a separate team in D's gallery.

The breakfast opt is from Studio D this morning rather than B or A. My wild guess is that in the future B will be used for the evening and late bulletins, while D will be used for the breakfast, lunchtime and weekend bulletins (whenever the national bulletin is in E).

With the way D looks now, I can see it being used a lot more than for London. Ideal home while E and C get upgraded.

I thought we all knew that’s what the plan was anyway.

If London is sharing a technical team potentially after the 6 and 10 then I wonder if the 1 and weekend network bulletins might also move to D.

And here we go~ BBC London have finally moved into Studio B:

The BBC News DOG now doesn't get faded off in the title wipe and stays on screen~ I'm not sure if the DOG is generated by the lower third graphics engine like the NC and WN, or it's just embedded into the titles with green screen...

Interestingly, the backdrop in the presenter's desk uses the fake Studio E newsroom backdrop rather than London skyline...

The setup is pretty much very similar to the 6/10, with the BBC News graphics replaced by the regional news graphics, and the catwalk graphic being replaced by the London skyline...
