BBC/ITV Yorkshire and Lincolnshire News

She lacked the 'friendly regional face whilst you're having your tea' feeling, which is fair enough considering her background

Take it to the Bridge!

She was an interim news presenter on The Big Breakfast between Phil Gayle leaving and Jasmine Lowson started during a brief period where they had BBHQ - Big Breakfast Headlines Quarterly.

Was she meant to be permanent but it didn't work out, or was she always meant to be temporary?

I think it was intended to be temporary.

She wasn’t bad but, it’s just as Yorkshire folk too use to Amy Garcia and her friendly like neighbour approach to presenting the local news.

Normal service resumed tonight with Tom Ingall on duty

Obviously this is not an issue over in Hull as Peter Levy hasn’t missed a programme yet all year
Is Peter Levy technically a freelancer given he doesn’t appear to take the legal minimum time off for employees?

Was reading on the Digital Spy Forums that Look North (Leeds) had a shared bulletin with Look North (Newcastle) from Leeds at teatime today?

Yes indeed, due to a ‘technical problem in Newcastle’

The bulletin was a mix of stories from both regions and Tom apologised that the weather only covered the Yorkshire region

At the time, Johnny and Liza gave the impression Bridgid was the permanent replacement for Phil Gayle. I wonder if that was actually the case and then the programme decided it wasn't working out and made a change.
