Schedule changes and special progs following the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II

From what the EPG is showing, Sky is pulling Sky Comedy and the Cinema counterpart off air during the funeral.

Looks like they realised it would be in poor taste if they allowed the comedy channels to simulcast the funeral like with every other Sky channel

Scratch what I said. Looks like I’ve been duped by a clever photoshop of the EPG!

Also The Last Leg ran for only 45 minutes on Friday. Mainly because The Queen was the only topic they discussed

With or without commercials? Because if there were no ads, 45 minutes basically is the same as the usual hour.

With ads.

On the Hub, CITV is supposed to be showing 'ITV News Regional' but is actually off air?

Edit: ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 and ITVBe are all showing 'programme not available on this platform' on the Hub.

(and yes, this was taken with my phone as ITV Hub does not allow capturing of it's live streams

NickSpongeBob (the pop-up Nicktoons channel) are only showing the 11 minute SpongeBob episodes today with no ads (only promos) and for some reason there are no specials or The Patrick Star Show.

ITV2, ITV4 and ITVBe are showing a 2013 style caption.

Other Nick channels, Warner Bros Discovery kids channels (but also the main WBD channels, except that with "normal" slots and replaced advertising with a slide) and more other channels have shrunk their EPG slots too.

So that they do not have to justify to younger viewers for the lack of adverts

They're doing that on quite a few channels, so I think it's more for technical statmuxing reasons although the considerations you mention probably played a part in which channels they chose. Sky Nature, most of the movies channels, half of the Sports channels are showing In Memoriam for the duration.

Movies 24+ is taking Sky News, and Movies 24 is showing the In Memoriam slate, I hadn't realised it was part of Sky these days but apparently so.

Why do they still exist then? If Sky owns Movies 24, shouldn't it become another Sky Cinema channel?
