The license here is oddly complicated: Originally licensed to ESPN, who sub-licensed it to Raycom Sports (a Gray company), from which the CW bought the rights and who will be the ones responsible for production.

Presumably this is another aftermath from the Sinclair/Diamond Sports/Bally Sports fiasco, as seen here:
