France Télévisions' news output is once again affected due to the pension reform strikes now being more frequent. Today, France 2's newscasts are coming for the more complex chroma key studio used normally by France 3 during industrial action, instead of the cagibi or their main studio with reduced production values. Some regional newscasts have been aired in a VoiceOver format, whilst others were replaced by a newscast from a neighbouring region or the satellite Édition Toutes Régions. France 2's Télématin wasn't broadcast live today too, with a repeat edition from last month (instead of an emergency tape) airing instead.
Still on strike-related matters, BFM TV went all-in with live shots and extended coverage of the protests. However, given the protests are increasingly becoming violent, the channel took the decision of not disclosing the name and exact placement of the reporter, as well as not showing it camera. This has been done to protect the wellness of them and decrease the risk of being attacked by protesters.

Today was Marc-Olivier Fogiel's audition, and he made it clear: BFM TV was a victim of the very complex Team Jorge disinformation network, and praising the channel's journalists, whose work was badly hit by the scandal.

Sticking with the fall-out from this, RMC Story has announced M'Barki's replacement on Faites entrer l'accusé: Première Édition anchor Christophe Delay. He will still co-host with the show's longtime expert Dominique Rizet. The show's new season is already filming with him, and these new episodes will debut in September.
