Still on strike-related matters, BFM TV went all-in with live shots and extended coverage of the protests. However, given the protests are increasingly becoming violent, the channel took the decision of not disclosing the name and exact placement of the reporter, as well as not showing it camera. This has been done to protect the wellness of them and decrease the risk of being attacked by protesters.

If you spend some time in front of BFMTV you can see the different security tiers they use:
1. reporter on camera and live, often crossing to protesters for interviews
2. reporter named and camera live but reporter out of shot
3. anonymised reporter and camera live but reporter out of shot
4. anonymised reporter and live footage but not where the reporter is
This practice (at least the first 3 tiers, 4th one seems new) started with the Gilets Jaunes protests and has unfortunately become increasingly necessary. Whilst attacks by black blocs have been quite common for a number of years, attacks on journalists by police have also increased significantly as of late.
