The new look has fully launched on France 24. As expected, it's not a radical departure from the previous look. It's all pretty much the same, but the now-transparent and feathered graphics feel a little less...refined to me. The billboard titles on the video wall in the studio seem a bit tacky and more in line with something you'd see on BFM or CNEWS. I'm also not really sure whether the picture frame treatment they're using for the logo, promos, publicités bumps, and the countdown is as fully developed as what it replaced (the three-dimensional cube treatment.)
None of it is bad by any means, but it does feel like change-for-the-sake-of-change (aside from the programming lineup changes, which are significant.)
