These are played out at around 18:55. The nations also get a separate weather forecast.
Is the Friday episode of ITV News pre-recorded then for Scotland, Wales & NI? Or just the end bit? Similar to what they do for co-location of regions like Tyne Tees/Border - only one of them are ‘live’ at one time and the other recorded as live about an hour before? Don’t know how they would do the split or is it just very clever technology? Haha!
Peston currently has a LIVE DOG beneath the ITV1 logo. Is this the same as the one Saturday Night Takeaway were using? The transparency matches and it certainly looks convincing. Does anyone know if 'ITV1 LIVE' is all one DOG being added by the channel, or is the LIVE caption coming from the programme's gallery? I guess we'll be able to see when it appears on ITVX catch-up.
Edited to add - I'm now pretty sure it's just a cleverly designed graphic coming from the programme, based on its behaviour around a pre-rec'd interview. Sorry for waffling and wasting everyone's time!

The live DOG is added by the production gallery, as its the same dog that is being used on STV and the ones for SNT and DOI are also the same on Virgin Media One.
