Apparently this was not mentioned on this site at all, so I may as well bring it up! RT seems to have introduced updated graphics back in September, got to admit it looks fine, but needs improving.

Probably not suprising it wasn't mentioned seeing as the channel's been removed from virtually everywhere.

Back in 2011: ATV News in Hong Kong first broke the news of former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin's death. 11 years too early, to be exact:
youtu.be
Fastforwarding into late night, they even got to the lengths of changing their DOG into an obituary black symbol, albeit only thoughout the news:
youtu.be
Later investigations found the higher-ups pressed the news department to air the report ASAP, as well as changing the symbol. The vice-chiefs, failed to stop the press, resigned; while the station was fined $300 thousand HKD.

One of the anchors iirc now heads iCable's news division in a clear sign of how iCable has taken a turn for the worse.
One of the vice-chiefs that resigned later headed RTHK (which was considered back then as bad enough), yet now is regarded as having been pretty okay compared to what has followed since.

It’s a Chinese counterpart of Cat 1 death, but the state broadcaster began to air its obit package 90 minutes after the death was announced on social media platforms - then on the main channel one hour later. Quite different than former leader Deng Xiaoping’s death 25 years ago.
