I never said it wasn't supporting Q, some people were making out like Q is being forgotten. I've reworded that bit to better get my point across. Also, most routers are dual band and have been for some time. More recently there has been some implementations that combine the SSID or broadcast separate ones for different bands.
Every house is different, but my experience as a network engineer is that people that think they will get faster speeds by installing lots of repeaters or pods in the space of small house and end up causing more RF interference and making things worse whereas The purpose of a mesh system is to extend coverage. Im not saying don't get it, but most people would benefit from moving their routers from behind furniture and from next to fridges.
