Looks as though Dan is doing this bulletin on his own now and CL has disappeared again? Could be completely wrong but it even appears the desk is smaller to accommodate one host!

I seem to recall that 5 News winds down in the weeks before Christmas last year as well before going back to full strength in the new year.

However it's the bulletin that despite having Dan Walker on board continues to have stand-ins on a regular basis and a heavy use of freelancers.

My original point was that it looks as though he's now doing it on his own, with CL quietly having left. She's not been on in weeks.

That missing presenter was on air during September (a month after the Popbitch item) which suggests she wasn’t taken off by ITN, and also that there may be some spin going on somewhere

5 news is utter an disgrace, and it make ITV News at Ten palatable, Richard Baker, Alastair burnet and Carlo burns Would be mortified if they show how these news bulletins are presented.

Is Ch5 News viewed as box tick news cast? Arent they required to have a news operation?
