I watched Sam Ryder's NYE show last night. He was absolutely brilliant on the stage. His guests for the show had some great performances in them. The Fireworks and light show from Big Ben at Midnight were really good too.

I noticed also this year the BBC were uplinking the fireworks themselves with one of their BBC News vans, usually they have Timeline or NEP handle the uplinking - perhaps another chance to save money.

Interesting they are recording it in advance instead of it being live. 

Tonight they recorded the Christmas Eve’s and New Years Eve’s Songs of Praise specials at Sheffield City Hall
