I guess Deal or No Deal might be the Strictly fodder this time around once the Rugby World Cup is done. If that does survive it probably could get a run in the autumn and Q1/2 each year, although they'll want to keep Catchphrase in the mix as well.
Starstruck is reportedly axed too so if whatever replaces that next year doesn't work it is effectively a 7 week blank slate the following year.

Could find a few ITVX shows to fill the gaps.

Shame Stephen Mulhern got the Deal or No Deal job, Ant and Dec could have hosted that - I wonder how that would have looked like? Would it be wrong having 2 hosts for Deal?
Strictly in my opinion needs to be taken down a peg or two - they have been soaring high for years, and with that comes laziness - yes, they did a great job in 2020 to get the show on air as Covid safe as possible - but in recent years, their choice of celebrities has been really poor
I just wish ITV would have something that is a proper alternative to Strictly in the autumn - X Factor was that for at least 2004 to 2012.

Walk The Line could have worked had the format been different. That its initial announcement seemed to delay Starstruck being shown, that could have been an option too. Maybe it could come back for a final series vs Strictly if it's going to be axed afterwards anyway, or else they could get more out of it by having themed nights?

Isn't X Factor moving to Channel 5? Any idea when this happens? If not, I wonder if ITV would dare to resurrect X Factor again for 2024?

You should really take anything from the tabloids with a pinch of salt.

I think DOND isn’t structured enough for a double act. And I think there would be two much second guessing what the other wanted to do for it to flow. With that show the host at least in Noel’s case really does control the show.

ITV had a series called ‘Go For It’ in 2016 that involved challenges similar to You Bet but without the celebs and betting element.
Ant & Dec did try ‘Wanna Bet?’ In the states, but I don’t think it went down well.

I am very surprised that American television were even considering Ant and Dec back then - their accents is just so hard for American audiences to understand - notice the big British stars who make it in the US, nearly all have the standard basic southern English RP accent or a basic English accent.
I think Ant and Dec even appeared as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live - I feel their styles, their accents just didn't sit well with the American audience back then.
