CNN had it as their top story since 4pm, initially with "Breaking News" ticker, but, quite expectedly, no non-stop coverage, just several minutes at the TOTH.

BBC (World) News carries the news more as a one-liner well in the second part of their bulletins.

I wonder what is the percentage of anchors and correspondents that were born after his presidency ended, having no recollections of him as then-current President at all...
