The soundtracks for the break filler (on both channels) on the Player feed are two of the most annoying things I have ever heard. (Ironically enough if you’re watching this feed you won’t see any of the idents, since they remove all presentation except for the said break filler).

But yeah, RTE One is desperately in need of a kick of paint, badly, so it’s good to see some movement in that front.

I believe the expression is 'lick of paint', unless you regularly indulge in violent activities with tins of emulsion, Rdd.
