Just tried three or four and they all redirected to the relevant articles on the BBC News app.

Loving tonight's Ten's opening shot after the titles had two Editors on set while Reeta read out the top story.

I think the new filler is a step in the right direction. I found this, and old style BBC World break filler which, if adapted, could be much much better. Although, BBC Scotland/Alba seem to get it right currently.
Not sure about the QR codes (both on the filler and directing people on NC to the live pages). I can see the use for live pages, but considering it is on screen for a minimal amount of time on the break filler, it cant see it being used all that much. Would love to see how many people actually scan it.

This headline from the website annoyed me rather and is a prime example of the dumbing down of BBC News output

You'd be forgiven for thinking this was the musings of the head of one of the consumer banks, not the central bank for the United Kingdom..
In the past they would have added the words 'of England' which would really say all you needed to know on a general level.

I had a quick read of the article too, and it's a bit clunky; although that's a different matter altogether...

At school they taught me how to be
So pure in thought and word and deed
They didn't quite succeed...

The filler is a step in the right direction and I’m loving that slowly but surely the music is going back to what it was originally and loosing the orchestra which just makes it sound pompous and we lost all the little effects

Like others have said it still has that slight PowerPoint fell. For all the fuss about the new master logo being so it can be animated, I’d expect it to do its little jump/bounce it does when the story changes. Id also move the progress bar so it runs down the left hand side so that it mimics the bar that’s used during the headline sequence then when the story changes it moving vertically.

Just a ident loving pres.fan from the East of England

Now that i`m thinking, the new music for the filler has sound effects "swooshes" and thunderclaps when the headline changes, so maybe the countdown "remix" that they put on the first place was a mistake and the new theme was ultimately the background music originally envisioned for the filler
Maybe that countdown music is going to be used on a new countdown of a future rebrand?

Chris Mason has just appeared on the News at Six from Westminster when he wasn't meant to appear yet.

Not seen it mentioned but Nicky Campbell was back on the channel today at 10.30am to take reaction to the WASPI news. Was a fairly seemless opt in.

If the filler perhaps just had a “Coming up” strap at the bottom to indicate it’s a break it would be better.

But it looks pretty slick, liking the updated music and the fact that the thunderclap matches the next headline is attention to detail that’s been lacking lately from BBC News presentation.

Obviously this format means the length can be variable but even if they could use the opt-out presenter to pre-record an Around the UK summary over moving pictures that would feel more like content and less like filler.
