BBC News Pres: Apr 2023 - Present (News Channel/BBC One)

Yalda Hakim, one of the chief presenters, is being interviewed by Lucy Hockings, another of the chief presenters, from the newsroom area.

At least they managed to cover the GB News logo on one of the screens this time lmao

Sometimes it’s all white, then all black, then all red and then sometimes black and red.
Yes and this all part of the overall branding issue. All the core colours not being used in consistent ways.

There is also a frame rate issue with the 'presenter in newsroom camera'? They really need to get the basics right.

If you're blind or visually impared, or even just have the channel on in the background, the fact there's no spoken intro on the 'Across the UK' feature is poor.

That newsroom screen report position, they need to do something with the screens further back - each time they throw there is a GB News logo and Sky News- surely better to have a screen there to block out those screens rather than distraction of other news channels?

Coming up... The BBC News at One from studio E with the red box branding and Helvetica 1?

No red box, but the AR hoop was back.

Those updated BBC News at One titles with the Reith '1' didn't last long, a day or two?

That newsroom reporter position reminds me a lot of CNN's old show BackStory, which used the gallery as set and never looked good.

BBC needs to make that shot wider, show more of the environment, instead of the awkward, zoomed shot of the reporter and webpage. Would be nice to have a small desk or something.
