He now does Sundays (both 10 and teatime) once in several weeks, so yes.

When was the last time Mishal did a Sunday?

Yes, it would appear that the 'end' of the desk is removable to allow an extension to be added to create a full semi-circle. As with the desks in the 2012/13 sets, I would imagine the 'core' of the desk in B is built into the set and effectively irremovable - they've clearly thought ahead and it's a lot more seamless that the odd mini-desk extension that Belfast have.

That said, it does seem a little bit unnecessary to me sizewise - Sunday with LK has already demonstrated that you can fit three guests to the presenter's left and there's clearly room for at least one correspondent on the presenter's right, which is all you'd usually have for a local election - so I assume it is there for a bit of symmetry and to allow the election front panel to 'fit in' better. Though, it does seem a bit premature to have that front panel on the desk already, especially considering the limited coverage that local elections get in network bulletins.
At least they're prepared in case social distancing ever got reintroduced in the next few years / decade. Wink

I'm guessing that they decided with the election panel/screens in front of the desk it looked better with the left extension.  Also, as local election coverage acts as a rehearsal for the general election it probably made sense to utilise it.

The 1100 hour is from Studio C. What about 0900 – 1100 on World?

1100 is from Studio C this morning with the shortened Chameleon titles, I haven't watched the international feed this morning so I'm not sure if 0900-1100 was from E...

Anjana Gadgill; she's a freelancer who's popped up a bit in the last couple of weeks.

Wonder if there’s some sort of dispute with the previous regular newsreaders and this is why we’re seeing a lot of temps.

Still no properly recreated titles, though.

Since Friday, with upates to the BBC News bulletins logo on the website and new titles for the Context, I had a feeling that things might be on the move to a more permanent order. 11am (and, presumably, 9 and 10 am hours as well) moving to Studio C fits that narrative but it seems we'll have to wait a bit more for the titles fix.

Also it will be interesting to see Matthew and Yalda move to C as well, as it was the initial plan for the time being until E is possibly refitted.

Everything has come from C so far today.

Could well possibly see the News at One come from B today?
