At 11:30 Studio C went back into action with WBR, so it took about an hour and a half to fix the issue.

A tower and curved screen could be installed but never used. Maybe this is why, apart from availability of funds, E is still in use and hasn't been upgraded yet, as there's literally no point in upgrading the studio with the new presenting set up of the channel.

If a fixed camera position is the future then hopefully that can be in studio E with the live newsroom behind. (And no background noise)

When studio E is upgraded it should have similar AI cameras to studio B. That will lead to more flexibility as those cameras can track and focus on their own, thus they can be run on a skeleton staff.

The problem is not with the cameras, IIRC, it is with the autocue - the News Channel presenters, unlike the national bulletins' ones, now have to operate it on their own either with a remote in their hands or by a pedal under the table.

What does the autocue operator do when they aren’t operating it for the nationals?
