Maps have been incorrect previously on CNN and Fox. Not that uncommon.

1, 6, 10 titles are still having frame rate issue when the bulletin is delivered from OB after they modified them in May…
Do they use a separate title file for OB occasions?

Yes, it looks like whenever they need 'long' titles, they're still using a dodgy file.

Although arguably today for a UK audience the situation in Gaza should probably be the third story.

Gaza was the third story on the Sky News bulletin I saw earlier behind the Storm and the By-Election results.

In other news, does BBC Millbank have it's own gallery, or is it routed through one at NBH as an outside source?
Own gallery - used to do Politics Live and the by-election special. The news bulletins done at NBH as a source into special.

The NC UK feed is with World on another special programme from Washington covering President Biden's primetime speech. According to the EPG, the NC will start simulcasting BBC One's coverage at 0200.
And a UK only opt with election / storm news at 0515 so yes busy night

Interesting spelling of ‘cair worker’ just now. However stretched or inexperienced the channel’s staffing might be, not being able to spell care worker correctly on air is bafflingly poor.

Kudos to you sir for holding down the overnight fort in the newsroom, doing the by-election bulletins and standing by for UK opts from 0000-0600 last night~
Just an observation on the election bulletins - the lower thirds directed from NBH (Gallery A?) didn't have the BBC News logo on top... It also animated very weirdly (such as the faster animation speed). It looks so similar to the graphics from Singapore's gallery... Feels like it's a new graphics template that just got hacked quickly from the main template...

On the topic of lower thirds, remember when the lower thirds from Washington during the Midterms (?) election special looked slightly different, because they were testing out a way to render them differently IIRC?
I don't understand why they can't implement that in Singapore - or use some other method - to fix the extremely odd graphics situation.
The fact that the sub-par status quo been kind of accepted just seems weird to me. Is it an especially hard fix?
