EE's main website has had a refresh to a similar design. I think I like it, less "loud" than the old turquoise and yellow

I really hope they don't scrap the BT brand fully. If anything a return to British Telecom!
Just to note the BT mobile network may use the same infrastructure but is a stripped back product without all the same features as EE numbers.

It’s not being scrapped outright, they’re keeping BT branding for business customers and a small number of domestic customers.
It feels like the longest rebranding ever, it was announced over a year ago and it doesn’t feel we’re much further along. There’s certainly a lot of advertising for both BT and EE right now, both offering broadband, which doesn’t seem to suggest there’s an impending rebrand on the horizon.
I have BT TV and it feels like a service that has stagnated somewhat. Apparently when it rebrands to EE TV we’re due more features, but it feels very much like a waiting game.

I assume it's going slowly because it appears to be tied in to other changes (eg their newly announced wifi 6 router which will be EE branded for residential customers, and is now being issued to business customers under the BT brand)
I would also assume they've also got to work out what to do with existing "BT mobile" and "EE broadband" customers. They'd need shifting over to (today's) EE mobile and BT broadband platforms.
Since it is a TV pres forum, one might say they're preparing for a proper "big bang" launch compared to the BBC where Gill Sans still persists in places.

Most of the advertising I'm hearing/seeing for BT is around BT TV. I wonder if they have a warehouse full of BT TV Pro boxes they want to get shifted before they discontinue the YouView hardware platform?

I have been through a few rebrands. Freeserve to Wanadoo, then orange.
I had an orange mobile which forever displayed the network as orange long after the brand had gone.
It will take years even from the official re-brand, the old one will linger.

Funny enough Openreach were doing some work in Tottenham Court Road on Friday and the fencing used had the BT piper branding to say they were doing work there.
