And now that the deadline for countries to withdraw without a financial penalty has passed for Malmö, we'll likely get the confirmed list of entries for next year's contest within the next fortnight (last year it was announced on 20th Oct)

Confirmation from the BBC this morning that the UK will be going to Malmo, and as reported back in the summer, the semis will also be airing on BBC1 next year

Confirmed participation list for 2024 has been released by the EBU this afternoon

Australia's participation is continuing despite SBS's deal with the EBU expiring this year, meanwhile they say that "Whilst Romania is currently not confirmed to compete next year, talks are continuing with TVR on their potential participation as well. "
