Was it that long. Wow!

Now it's special edition of AC360 on CNN for two hours, with Anderson back in New York studio.

It appears that Jim Acosta will be back at 10pm and provide coverage till midnight, from where CNNI will take over as usual.

Meanwhile BBC has slimmed down its coverage as DC team took over, with mutiny still being single story, but now BOTH are pre-recorded.

MSNBC joined Sky News at Midnight Eastern time, the last time this happened was during the initial invasion of Ukraine, during The Queens death & funeral coverage and for His Majesty’s Coronation.

I’m not a fan of the MSNBC logo placement, wish it was on the bottom with the ticker, but it works. My only question is who controls the commercial breaks? London? New York? Or…? Any insight on that would be cool to hear!

CNN continues to alter its programming into Sunday: 4-6am ET is anchored by Max Foster from London, studio looks like flashcam, but the background image is Newsroom-ish.
Kim Brunhuber did only 3am hour from Atlanta, as Michael Holmes stayed till 3am.

CNN This Morning features Wolf Blitzer in London alongside Victor & Amara in Atlanta, at least in the opening shot.

Moreover, Domestic schedule now says that 8-11pm will have AC360 and CNNI will take over from 11pm, thus culling all recorded shows, including much-prepped The Whole Story.

Looks like a bit overkill, especially if there will be no further developments, this risks turning into a repetitive punditry.

Over in France, BFMTV is still in rolling coverage at lunchtime today. LCI, naturally, also with 100% Ukraine barring an hour's break for Le Grand Jury, the Sunday political interview.

Unless the story takes another turn not sure there is much to run with today. Alot to analyse perhaps, but rolling coverage often not the best way to do that.

Considering the amount of broadcasting from London this weekend, CNN could have made an effort to open up its main studio, instead of dumping Wolf into yet another flash set. Would have been nice to see him in the main set, interviewing other London people. What's the point of having a proper set these days when flash sets seem to be the cheap, go-to option whenever something unexpected happens. Rolleyes

Presumably London... Sky playout are going to have more knowledge of Ofcom advertising rules than MSNBC are.
