Think any use of historic idents/announcers would be more appropriate for BBC TV's 100th anniversary in 2036. l agree re Harry and Paul - the one they did for BBC 2's 40th was very funny.

It's just a shame that the sting isn't exactly...exciting, is it?
You think of how creative they can be with the likes of the EastEnders/Frozen Planet crossover, or the end of the Where Next? promo from a few years ago and it sounds like we're just getting some animated rectangles instead.

I'm trying to work out when its first appearance might be - I don't think there's any BBC 100 programming before Tuesday? And even then, BBC One doesn't seem to be doing anything special on the day. Maybe a One Show VT I guess.

By the looks of things, the set of idents created to celebrate 100 years of the BBC will be used across multiple channels as there is no specific branding.

Yes, that Where Next promo would have made sense with the 100th anniversary (even a reversion of it). Looking forward to what they have planned for next week though.
What does that say about a channel if it scares fish? Just talk me through that.

No. Blocks at top & 100 YEARS OF OUR BBC at the bottom.

New BBC Centenary idents begin airing tomorrow until Friday the 18th of November.
First one shown on BBC1 will be 10am, into Crimewatch Live.
