I've seen sometimes they play the episode later , where the ticker has put Amanpour can be seen at 10PM GMT, something to that effect.

Gayle King from CBS Mornings is joining primetime CNN:
Quote:CNN is finalizing a deal for “CBS Mornings” anchor Gayle King to host a weekly prime-time show, according to people familiar with the situation, as network boss Chris Licht experiments with new programming to counter a steep ratings slide.

Ms. King, 68 years old, is expected to begin hosting a once-a-week show this fall, while continuing her duties at CBS, the people said. CNN is also in conversation with former NBA player Charles Barkley about potentially joining a show with Ms. King, they said.

Wow, wonder where in the schedule this one is supposed to go. Sunday has Chris Wallace at 7pm ET and The Whole Story at 8pm (soon), so this either goes to 9pm (a documentary/feature slot now) or to another day - either Saturday (which has newly-freed 8pm slot) or one of weekdays instead of Primetime.

It might be glitch, but the CNN online schedule for next Monday, April 3, is showing the 9am-12pm block as CNN News Central. 1pm-4pm is still shown as CNN Newsroom.

It disappeared and corrected itself now to the normal CNNi schedule but clearly a small hint there they are maybe intending to start their new shows next week.

It is not on the CNNi schedules, CNNi is running its own thing (First Move & Connect the World) at this time.
Look for CNN/US schedules, and it is still there.

Cheers thanks for that, so clearly they are going to start their new shows next week then, though I do wonder if CNN News Central is starting in New York but not Washington next week if that's the correct schedule. Bit weird if that's the case though could be another schedule error and that both the new shows are starting next week.

If the schedule is not a glitch, it's very unlike CNN to have not started promo. They seem to be taking the BBC approach - let's drop it and see what happens.

It's becoming more on brand for CNN to just not announce things. Members of this forum caught that "CNN Prime" was uploaded to the schedule for a random Wednesday in February. Variety then reported on February 18th that CNN Primetime was in the works and cited a source telling them the show wouldn't launch for some time. CNN Primetime launched only 10 days later.

It seems like the new management are making almost a virtue out of doing things completely differently to the old management. The way things are going, I'm half expecting Don Lemon to disappear one day without any fanfare (oh, wouldn't that be nice...!)
