ITV (Wider Group) Branding

I think that’s the case for any channel that has SD and HD versions though isn’t it? Smart swap (where applicable) swaps the HD and SD positions on the EPG, so that the HD version replaces the SD version but only for those with HD entitlement?

Well, it seems that it has indeed been delayed, as that person said…

All this, including not having a date or any new info on ITVX worries me that this is all a bit of a rush job and they've realised it's not ready.

I hope that's not the case, but for the brand refresh to be delayed doesn't seem to be a good sign.

Also a little annoying personally as it's my day off tomorrow so was all ready to check out the new look.

Where has this been confirmed? I mean it’s probably the case seen as there’s been no fanfare or mention about anything, not even on ITV’s Press Centre site. But can’t find anything to say it’s been definitely delayed?

We’ll see what airs tomorrow, Refresh or not

But again the rebrand could happen unannounced, take Oneness for example. So you never know it could happen tomorrow.

well, if they are rebranding tomorrow without launching ITVX, and its already been confirmed the channel logos and branding are changing, they would need to make significant changes to the ITV Hub to reflect these changes.

Maybe we'll begin to see teasers from tomorrow in the lead up to the full rebrand (along with ITV X launch) later this month.

Leave it too late and we'll be straight into the Christmas identities though!

Surely they'll want to get the new look and ITVX launched before the World Cup so they have only got a couple of weeks.
Obviously it doesn't have to launch for that, but I'd imagine they would want to

I think there may be doubt about ITVX even launching for the World Cup. The ITV World Cup press release didn't mention it at all, still referring to ITV Hub.
