Not what I'm saying.   Simply that Plymouth is a very special situation.

Using the set there will be significantly harder to setup than a region on traditional gallery or Overdrive.

Every shot, camera move, show automation template would have to be changed uniquely at Plymouth,  rather than human staff just pointing cameras at different places on the gaffer taped floor or cut and pasting the Overdrive templates site to site like everywhere else.

There is a separate project to bring together some of the automation workflows across mosart installations though, and that will help mosart based English Regions adapt to the new set.

There was a small error on the opt to BBC South Today after the 10.

It went into the BBC London bulletin for a few seconds and than it went to the news in the BBC South Today studio.

A Doctor Who segment on South Today was introduced with some fun use of the studio. Blue lighting!

I wonder if we’re seeing Southampton managing to use the benefits of having the new gallery processes working with the new studio. Watching on iPlayer, South Today looks so much better than other regions (of course a proper size studio and high lighting rig helps!)

Do the BBC have a central team for graphics? I could see a benefit off the new studios being easily able to deploy a standard one off graphic set to support events like this, Children in Need, Make a Difference awards. This would seem a good efficiency delivering enhanced quality.
