It seems odd that Sky News’s Middle East correspondent is always based from Israel (not at the moment obviously) rather than using the Sky News Arabia office. It does seem like news organizations favour Jerusalem for Middle East coverage like they do for Beijing for Asia, London for Europe and Washington for the Americas. But it is also in the middle of where most stories from that region comes from.
Sky previously had a Dubai-based Middle East Correspondent in addition to Jerusalem in the past. I think it was Ashish Joshi.

Certainly doesn't show that they are a smaller operation internationally. They've been a great substitute since the BBC merger until they blocked the YT stream in Canada. No satellite or cable company is carrying Sky News. What I find offensive this time is that it's not geoblocked in Australia anymore. It was blocked a few weeks ago though. Last time they blocked nearly every country but it's just Canada this time and a few minor countries.
