Also on the same day, the Women's Champions League final will take place in Bilbao with a 5pm BST kick-off. Last year was a 3pm kick-off clashing with the FA Cup final and subsequently DAZN weren't able to sublet rights to a FTA outlet, but two years ago, with no clash, the final was also shown on ITV 4. Think the turnaround might be too tight for ITV 4 this year, but BBC Two a possibility - especially with Chelsea having one foot in the final.

ITV4 have the Rugby Champions Cup which clashes with the FA Cup as well so suspect if any FTA picks it up might be C4 or C5.

ITV 4 was scheduled to show Real Sociedad v. Real Madrid next Saturday, but have not yet changed their schedule to reflect the fixture changes.

ITV 4 will show Real Sociedad v. Real Madrid tonight as planned, despite the match being pushed back 24 hours with eight days notice.

Rugby on both BBC1 and ITV1 on Saturday 8th June - as BBC1 has got the Betfred Challenge Cup final at Wembley, whereas ITV1 has got the Gallagher Premiership final at Twickenham

Ryle Nugent presenting studio coverage of the URC on Premier Sports this afternoon - I think it’s a few years since I’ve seen him do any studio coverage (the last I think was World Cup warm up games, also for Premier Sports, in 2019 and before that it would have been early 2000s on RTE).

S4C's graphics during the build-up of their live rugby mixed up Benetton and Connacht. Connacht are playing, both play in green, and Dragons were away to Benetton last weekend.

Catrin Heledd doing double duty hosting this match, and the Women's Six Nations game on BBC One Wales earlier. Likewise reporter Lauren Jenkins, who hosted Bulls v. Ospreys from the studio for S4C earlier, and red button commentator Ross Harries who was hosting Cardiff v. Edinburgh at Cardiff Arms Park earlier this afternoon for Premier Sports. No idea if they car shared the short journey from Cardiff to Newport!

Lynsey Hipgrave on TNT Sports also doubling up today, having been at the London Stadium presenting their early game, and then at Villa Park for TNT Sports' late game. Plenty of sportscasters earning their corn today!
