The Big Breakfast Discussion

According to Wikipedia, Planet 24 was only founded around a month before the Big Breakfast started, and as Charlie Parsons is credited as creator, I'm assuming it was 24 Hour Productions who developed the show, and the merger with Planet and therefore Bob coming on board must have been quite late considering how prominent him and Paula were when the show began.

Though Screenoceans label says '29/09/1992' VT Clocks say 30/09/1992

Limehouse television VT clock at 8:25- wasn't that just the name for the former LWT/later Fountain studios in Wembley? Did they have some sort of post production facility as well?

The Word came from there, so there was a Planet 24 link.

Looks like they're already using Chris and Gaby together much more than the first show a couple of days earlier.

The cow on the OB is hysterical.

Would this be Sharron Davies' final show? I've a vague memory of her finally using the pool on her last day.

Does anyone know what would be going on with the clock at 07:24 timestamp on the player? They have a clock counting up on the left hand side and on the right appears the old style BB clock with the time saying 09:53. However you wouldn't have seen that clock as by then they would have been using the blue BB2000 clock onscreen.

Very unusual, especially with the odd colour scheme and showing the wrong time. It appears at the same time as the other clock, so clearly generated by the same piece of kit. Obviously wouldn't have been seen on air because, as you said, the actual BB2000 branded clock would be covering it up, but it's strange nonetheless. Looks like someone does notice and fades it out after around 3 minutes.

Didn't they go back to that style of clock (in the proper colour scheme) after dropping the BB2000 branding, or did they move to something else? The style of clock changed so often in that era that it's hard to keep up.

I remember her doing the same at the end of her final show. From memory her last day was the day Tony Blair swept into power, so Fri May 2, 1997
