Despite the 3pm blackout not being in force today, it looks like it's only really the BBC taking advantage by showing goals from FA cup matches on Final Score. (There's a La Liga 2 match on La Liga Sports TV, but that seems to be it.)

Presumably because the black out is in place in Scotland and other broadcasters don't have the ability to provide separate programmes to Scottish viewers in the way that the BBC has.

it's not really blocked in Scotland though - you can watch on the red button or on iPlayer nationwide.

From the replies it appears the classic mistake caused viewers in the US & Canada to miss the end of Coventry v Wrexham.

Bit of an odd set-up on ITV 4 from Anfield, at least for post-match.

Mark Pougatch and guests are in a studio onsite, with the desk often seen on the rugby coverage rather than the one used yesterday and on other FA Cup football. And all three of them are using hand-held mics rather than lapel mics too.

I assume yesterday's studio would be used tomorrow and subsequently unavailable tonight. Not sure on the mics though, probably a fault earlier but didn't see the pre-match or half time coverage so not sure.

Just had a look back - at the top of the show it was just Mark holding a microphone (and he apologised for sound problems, though there weren't any obvious faults):

shortly afterwards his guests had handhelds too, and they were still using them at full time:

all three were wearing lapel mics - must have been a fairly big issue if they couldn't get them working during the match.

Definitely a technical issue, Pougatch opened the show with a handheld mic while the guests had lapel mics, then he switched to using a lapel mic which kept cutting out. After the first break they switched to all using handheld mics, I don't know if they also had issues with theirs or it was just because it did look a bit weirder when it was only the presenter having to hold one.

Unusual situation now, the BBC produced 4th Round Draw is being shown on ITV and BBC One. Has this happened before? Don’t think it’s happened since ITV joined contract.

It's definitely had a BBC/BT Sport simulcast in the past.

Did the BBC show the draw last season on TV when ITV Sport were producing?

They were all on the BBC Sport website but don't think any of them got linear outing.
