Thank you. I know Eurosport used to get in on the EBU rights in it's TF1 ownership days but weren't so sure they still did under Discovery ownership. It's probably the best fit for it.
Yes, agree a multi-sport national championship event is a great idea and turns fairly unwatched individual competitions into something more significant - I think NBC have done it by having track and field and swimming qualifiers run around the same time in the past. Only issue is no two sports have the same qualifying criteria for the Olympics - and not sure if the events have enough at stake to just serve as British Championships.
Certainly worth a shot though, although probably not something the BBC would invest in nowadays considering most coverage of national events, including athletics, is just a stream on the website provided by the national federation.
P.S. C4's commitment to Paralympic Sport outside the Paralympics has dwindled quite a bit in recent years but see there is a "European Para Championships" this August featuring 10 sports.
