Jeanette is back presenting on BBC Two this morning (the first morning session since Sunday).
Looking elsewhere, I've seen clips of interviews with Virgin Media Sport microphones so it looks like they are doing there own coverage, rather than taking a basic world feed.
And the Eurosport coverage, Radzi Chinyanganya is presenting onsite from the mixed zone. On commentary is Martin Gillingham (more often a rugby commentator rather than on athletics, but is former Olympic 400m hurlder) with former Paralympic medallist Stef Reid (I think) and another male lead commentator I don't recognise. Martin did the vast majority of the action. Glancing through the coverage, there were no athlete interviews during the action, but there was onsite interviews from Caroline de Moraes and then some after the action with Radzi who was joined by Iwan Thomas. Radzi is speaking with CEST times, so presumably doing some form of pan-European coverage; that sort of thing will be far harder to execute if they kill off the Eurosport brand in the UK next year.
Purely for writing the above did I check in on the Eurosport coverage for the first time and I think I'm happy enough to stick with the BBC coverage going forward. The biggest advantage of the Eurosport/Discovery+ coverage I can see is that they have made available all the dedicated streams for the field events; these are not available via the BBC and they often are a big more neglectful of the field events so that might be something to keep in mind for some sessions over the rest of the week.
