Two fantastic weeks of snooker viewing figures over the last few weeks.
The Masters final had a peak viewing figure of 2.9 million on BBC Two, and a total of 5.1 million requests on BBC iPlayer. There was also significant growth in Eurosport's figures as well.

The following Sunday, the World Grand Prix final on ITV 4 had the channel's highest ever snooker viewing figures, with a peak of 1.32 million.

Undoubtedly a Ronnie O'Sullivan effect boosting those figures, but still very healthy indeed. Snooker might not be in a fantastic position at the moment (the Chinese matchfixing scandal and not too many up and coming players breaking through arguablly), but its broadcast landscape is fantastic, with BBC, ITV and Eurosport involved and getting a good return.
BBC Wales are trailing it as on Friday night now. Quite the time for bonus BBC Wales Sport content, with the third series of the Slammed series of doccumentaries on Welsh rugby airing again tonight.

Presumably, only the half-hour slot before Final Score was available on 1, hence the documentary going out on 2 (followed by a Weatherman Walking repeat)
