Yeah the appearance of the (old) Premier graphics was an odd one, after the previous week I’d expected the Nations Cup graphics again, although their appearance was itself an oddity because these non-Test matches are not centrally sold afaik. VM are rarely required to call on their own graphics for match coverage; the limited amount of host broadcaster duties they do normally entail using standard tournament graphics. Some do exist and are as you say used primarily for pre-match coverage of rugby games. The end cap was the one for an in-house production, no indication of it being an indie at all which isn’t to say the actual match coverage wasn’t subcontracted out, like most broadcasters these days VM doesn’t do end credits for sport.

BBC Two to show Great Britain vs Australia in the Billie Jean King Cup semi-finals tomorrow - would have been online only otherwise (BT Sport have had the whole tournament)

ITV's first live Gallagher Premiership Rugby Union match of the season, their first of seven, excluding the final, is tomorrow, at 11:45am. Northampton v Saracens. No doubt hoping to build on the live coverage of the Womens rugby world cup final this morning, as I write.

Normal ITV graphics at half time and team information during lower thirds.

As it was held in Spain, possibly host broadcaster scorebar?

RTE screened the Women’s Rugby World Cup final this morning on RTE2 after basically ignoring the entire tournament (which according to World Rugby they had the rights to).

Bit of a one-off Grandstand vibe today with Hazel Irvine presenting links between the two BJK Cup tennis matches on BBC Two from the snooker in York. As ever it's great to see her.

The BBC have a lot of sport today with Rugby League on BBC1, Tennis on BBC2 and the Snooker on the red button, it seems like it's either feast or famine for BBC in terms on sport on an individual weekend.

Full Sky Sports pres for this one, which is a repeat of what they did in 2019. This time round there's a Sky Sports Cricket bug next to the huge '4 HD' bug - last time it seems it was (mostly) bugless.

For those with Sky Showcase, there are no channel logos on it’s coverage of the Cricket.
