The Sport Thread - For stuff not worthy of a thread of its own

The FA Cup semi-final schedule has been announced. The BBC picked Manchester City v. Chelsea, which is to be played on the Saturday evening. That leaves ITV with Coventry v. Manchester United, that will be played on the Sunday afternoon.

A press relase has been published for the BBC coverage of the Women's Six Nations. Gabby Logan, Sonja McLaughlan and Lee McKenzie will lead coverage.

All England matches and Wales v. Scotland tomorrow will be live on network TV, with the rest online and/or the relevant BBC Nation's channel.

Both of their league matches were late afternoon/early evening (Sunday 16:30 in London and Saturday 17:30 in Manchester) so presumably they are fine with this fixture at the moment.

It's the only reasonable time when that game can be played on that day, given that City are in Champions League action (against Real Madrid) the preceding Wednesday.

Apparently, it's Liverpool and Manchester United fans that the Metropolitan Police have issues with, hence the moving of the kick-off time for last year's Manchester derby FA Cup Final and the Carabao Cup final between Liverpool and Chelsea to 3pm.

FA cup matches are bigger of course with an equal spilt of club fans rather than a few thousand away fans,

Last year they were a lot of empty seats at Man City’s semi vs Sheffield United and calls to move it earlier but Chelsea is a bigger club (Who have drawn with them in those two matches) so might not be the case this time,

Given it's not in London, I'd say it's more of GMP's call.

TNT Sports has renamed its Chilean channel lineup. TNT Sports 3 dropped the numeral, airing live events in Chilean First B Division football and original programmes.

TNT Sports 2 and HD are now united as TNT Sports Premium, differing only by their respective resolutions. It seems like they adapted DixonBaxi's UK graphics too in the promos:
