One does wonder how sustainable the restricted level of coverage of the Masters at Augusta is in the long term, especially with ventures like LIV changing golf and attempting to change the way it is covered. Big names getting little screen time over the first two days would presumably disgruntle viewers, broadcasters and brands and hurt viewing figures etc. Though saying that all that, CBS, ESPN and the likes of Sky are more than happy to fork out the cash to air it despite the terms being far more restrictive than any other event.
