Meanwhile, no changes on WNA, except for the new face. I like her. The program is in good hands.

Yeeeah, a presenting debut for Sumi! If she is about to stay to do the 2-5am shift, it is going to be one monster of a shift - a half-an-hour bulletin, 3.5 hours waiting, then 3 more hours, each half filled. That is 7 hours long!

I agree, the new titles are very poor. There were better titles made in The Gallery at the old place. Bail and Martin Anderson in particular made some excellent sets of titles which wouldn't look at all out of place on air.

On the UK feed no Sports presenter visible at the end of the Ten, the feed itself going to the filler.

They went straight to Newsnight after a filler, leaving one to wonder where they will put announced Sports update.

The top one, with a numeral in the middle for the 1, 6, 10, like the original cream era had, would look better than what we’ve got now

If they were smart they’d have an extended sports bulletin at 23.10 after Newsnight instead of crashing into Newsday.

There isn't one until 0:45.

They have set themselves a trap with the timings between 22:00 and 0:00 - they are lucky that Newsnight very rarely starts on time.
What happens if they decide to extend the Ten or when there's over-running sport or other live event on BBC One?

They should put a sports update in after the Ten o'clock news, and show Newsnight on delay at 22:50. They can then drop the sports update if needed.

Yes, unlike Laura K show, UK feed carries the network DOG, not its own.

Honestly, what's the point of going to air? So many errors today. Nobody at BBC News paying the slightest bit of attention to anything presentation-wise, it would seem. Very sad indeed.
