Yes, would have felt much more authentic if they’d pretty much recorded it as live. It feels too produced and the pre-recorded links make it seem like the presenters aren’t seeing what the viewers have just seen from inside the house.

It’s different. But I think it desperately needed to be different.

I don’t have an issue with the pre-recorded aspect, nor the fast paced editing (it needed something, with 16 housemates going in!) plus with the house not quite connecting to the stage… but some of the edits are quite sloppy - which is a bit poor.
