Quite shocking that the person just missing out on the final is evicted to less fanfare than the two before. Feels quite random - meanwhile we weren’t allowed to see the night everyone thought a massive row had erupted and it was just some minor disagreement.

I think how and when they freeze the vote could impact the result too - you imagine if Henry went in 4th or 5th and the vote reopened his support would switch to Jordan.

In a way the format they've gone with could do with a split show like C4 used to have so they could run a Late & Live during the period to interview 5th, 4th and 3rd place (perhaps on ITV2 whilst ITV1 shows the news), then return to the final and include the interviews with the runner up and winner within that.

Is the ad load less when they simulcast a show with ITV1?

Aren’t there different rules between ITV1 and ITV2 for number of minutes? Or does airing none at 6pm mean they can match what a normal 9pm hour has on ITV2?
